I have recently installed a front mount intercooler, I was enquiring to see when a hole is cut in the chassis for piping is the only requirement making sure rubber is put around the hole to prevent rubbing on piping/joiners against the metal of "chassis".will upload a picture later to explain further. Is it also correct photos must be taken of the installed drive shaft loops to prevent the lvv certifier from removing the carpet ? Cheers Sam.

Good morning,
There's a limit to have accurately I can reply on this one, as when it comes to cutting holes in a car, your certifier is the man on the spot who can clearly see what you have taken out of where.
Plus, different ages and categories of car have different issues to be considered.
So, please take this as only very general information.
Remove the minimum of material. Ensure you've done a tidy and tradesmanlike manner (no ragged holes). Finish the hole by adding rubber or folded lip.
Before you cut holes, try to show or talk to the certifier.
If you are wanting to present the vehicle with carpet fitted, and using doubler plates, you will need to ensure that your certifier is happy with seeing photos, rather than sighting the plates himself.
