Hey there.
What happens with a car with factory adjustable suspension when it comes to specifying the vehicles ride height on a cert plate?
My car is factory hydraulic and like those with air suspension can adjust 20mm+/- via factory interior switch.
Between high - low settings this would conflict with any recorded measurement on a cert plate.
Thoughts?

When in use on the road, it will need to be in compliance with the numbers on the plate. If there's a range specified, then it can operate within that range.
If there is no range specified, then it is the usual, which is ride height +/- 5% shown on the plate.
If it is OE suspension, then generally it will just show "OE" in that field, so not a measured height.
What's your plate number, and I will look it up.

Hi
Leon was referring to the number on the LVV certification plate, but we can look up the plate details using your registration plate. You can contact us direct on tech@lvvta.org.nz if you want.
As Leon said, if the suspension is still original factory the heights will not be entered on the plate.
