If I understand correctly to have a brake pedal manufactured for my Ford Pop it has to be profesionally profile cut, bushes machined up and tig welded in and then exrayed, rather than go that way is a tilton or wilwood pedal allowed to be used on a street car.

In theory, yes they are ok. However, the common problems we've found with them is that often they are lacking a return spring and sometimes have a lack of pedal stop. So it may pay to check the exact model you're thinking of using with your certifier.
