Im hoping to put a set of fixed back bucket seats in my Mk1 Escort 2 door. Is there a requirement for the passengers seat to flip forward to allow access to the rear or will sliding the seat all the way forward on its seat rails be sufficient?

Yes, the requirement is that if there's a back seat, there must be access to it, so in this instance it will be required to flip forward.

Just to clarify this for myself, are you able to have the driver seat as a fixed back and the passenger seat only able to flip forward? Or both seats have to flip forward?
Thanks
