After reading through the wheel section off the hobby car manual,I can find no specific mention off having a load rating stamped in a wheel I have a period set of wheels which were oem fitment on the model of car I am certifying and were also standard fitment on larger models the local certifier says he needs to see a load rating. After checking three other sets of identical wheels all have no rating but are original ford wheels some other oem wheels I have checked are the same but aftermarket wheels are load rated and are stamped.presume to gain compliance in some countries. I really want use these wheels as they are specific to the replica I have built.and are larger than the origiinal steel wheels so would like them certed also so as to rule out any confusion at warrant time. Could you please advise on what my next steps should be.

If the certifier is able to identify the type of wheel (with the assistance of any information you can provide to them) that should avoid the need for a load rating. Unless the vehicle is a ute / van / light truck, in which case it becomes much more important. I'd say get in touch with your certifier as a good first step www.lvvta.org.nz/contact.html#certifier
