Tyre size to rim size compatibility chart

Hi there,

Just wondering why the tyre size 225/40/17 is missing from the chart (such a tyre does exist) and also what are the minimum and maximum rim widths this can fit.

There is a section at the beginning of this info-sheet which explains this;

'These tables don’t cover all possible tyre sizes, but should cover most common
fitments. Where the tyre size is not listed, the general patterns found in these tables should be
followed to determine the correct fitment range'.
