Could I have my back wheels also certified for use on the front if I felt like changing them around?

Hi martyn
We'll need some more details to be able to answer your question.
I take it you have different size wheels front and rear?

Hi Justin Yes, I currently have 6.5s on the front and 7.5s on the rear. The rears fit the front no hassle so was wondering if I could have them certified for either front or rear?

Hi Martyn I'm not too sure why you'd want to do this, but I'm not aware of anything specific that would prevent you from doing it. It will need to meet all of the relevant requirements in both configurations, so I suggest that you check out the wheels and tyres standard - www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/standards/LVVTA_STD_Wheels_&_Tyres.pdf. It will also need to meet the LVV brake test requirements in both configurations, and the LVV Certifier will need to be satisfied that the vehicles steering, braking, and handling characteristics have not been affected. I hope this helps.
