Hi Justin I have design approval on a Lotus 23C. LVVTA has specified A arm material as a minimum of 22x2.5 wall. As far as I can tell, this size doesn't exists.
I can either use 22 x 3 ERW, or schedule 30 21.3 x 2.41mm line pipe.
I used the schedule 30 line pipe on the last car I had certified and it was approved for that, although it falls outside your minimum specs.
I would prefer to use the schedule 30 again if possible, is this OK?
Thanks Patrick

Hi Patrick
The minimum specs for custom a-arms are all contained within the NZ Hobby Car Technical Manual. If the TAC have allowed a variation to this, then 22x3mm would be the best option.
Thanks, Justin
