I've had a customer approach me wanting to put a solid front axle in a 2003 KZN165 Hilux. This is a modification I have done many times before and have had certified. However this one has airbags. My understanding is that airbags can be removed on vehicles over 14 yrs old. This one obviously isn't old enough. However the exact same model was available without airbags.
So as a result I'm wanting to get pre-approval to remove the airbags. How do I go about this.
