Hi
I have a carbon driveshaft on my car it is rated to 800+hp and the car is at 600hp.
I believe I still need to have a driveshaft loop put on the car?
Can you please explain why this is needed, considering the driveshaft does not pogo if it fails but just splinters, I do not understand why I need to fit loops around the driveshaft
thanks Russ

Hi Russ
Can you please email the office with the details of the driveshaft?

Hi Russ,
The decision from the TAC meeting, is that as the driveshaft may still contain a laminate that will provide rotational force. Also, the carbon driveshaft may end up being replaced with a standard shaft.
