Park Brake cable modifications

I am needing to shorten the handbrake cable on my current project.Do I have to get qualified operators to perform this & if so do I require evidence of them having performed this alteration for me for certification pourposes

Hi Dave,

You'd need to provide a copy of the receipt from the company who carried out the modification to the cable.

There are companies who can do this modification, eg: Melbar cables in Wellington.
