cutting down windscreen - how do I get the saftey marks?

Hello,
I'm cutting down the front windscreen for my build and the current safety marks will be on the piece I cut off.
How do I go about getting the appropriate marks added to the remaining piece?
Or is there some other way to get it certified?

Hi Robin,

That's a bit of an interesting scenario.

For certification, you could present the screen pre and then post modification to the LVV certifier.

However, I'm not sure what you'd need to do from that point onwards to convince your WOF person that the screen met safety standards.

A glass supplier should be able to etch a new safety stamp into it.

Certifier isn't the issue, it's the on going WoF problem that concerns me.
I'll follow v6austin's suggestion and have a ring around the local glass suppliers and see if some one can help.
