Where a vehicle has had a driveline change in line with production models (6cyl to 8 cyl) using the same mounting points and engine and trans mounts how much work is involved in getting a cert? Likewise diff has been changed again using all original points.

Good morning, That should be a relatively straightforward cert job. Ensure that your brakes and suspension are up to the job of stopping the (presumably) more heavy and powerful engine. You'll need to fit driveshaft safety loop(s), and make sure that the engine is running cleanly, as the certifier will also need to do the exhaust gas emissions test. A 1A category certifier is all you'll need if it is just an engine swap. www.lvvta.org.nz/contact.html#certifier
