Hi there,
I am in the process of putting larger floating brake calipers on my BMW (these are a larger OEM part that bolts directly on).
The car is used for motorsport, and one upgrade many do is to replace the rubber guide bushes on the caliper with brass replacements to improve pedal feel.
Is anyone aware if I would have any issues installing these and being approved as part of the certification process?
Attached is a picture with the rubber bush (circled) to be replaced by brass, and here is the link for the replacement part.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers!
Nathan

There should be no issues with these, but make sure your certifier is aware of them when you take your vehicle for certification. Our suggestion would be to make sure that they're lubricated when installed and also have a dust boot over them.
