hey ya
Can I have the fuel filter mounted in the boot?
Setup:Tank takes up much of the boot. mounted much like a mustang tank - being part of the floor. In tank aeromotive pump. Filled from outside of car.
Battery mounted in the trunk in marine battery box.
Ridetech airpod/pumps/tank etc up on shelf above diff.
I dont have much room under car. Exhaust is tucked up and I wouldn't be able to meet the min 4' fuel lines to exhaust any where that would be practical to mount the filter. then the diff takes up much of the remaining room.
Will be sealed from passenger compartment.
So im thinking mounting it in the boot.
General layout and placement of filter:
Wider shot showing battery box location. up on a slight ledge. will have a panel infront of it to hide it. vents under car. Battery ositive cable goes up over wheel arch/inner fender then under back seat to exit other sie of car and travel under outter rocker.
I know we are aloud lines through the passenger compartment but no fittings other than bulk head fittings. But this isnt in the passenger compartment and will be sealed from it. (not to try and shut those air pumps up)
Hopefully i also got around the fuel tank location & mounting fine also. even though its in the boot it is not on the floor but is part of it.
A lot of words just to ask a simple question sorry.
Can I have the filter mounted in the boot?
cheers
Alex
