Hi Tom The general wheel suitability requirements state that a wheel must be purpose-designed for automotive road use and designed to withstand the combination of vehicle weight and vehicle load weight and the cornering and braking forces applied by the motion of the vehicle. The full requirements for wheels and tyres are contained in this chapter of the Car Construction Manual - www.lvvta.org.nz/shop/chapter-12-wheels-and-tyres/ (it's a free download) Cheers Chris
