Have taken a look through the docs and can't see anything about the conversion from wheel bolts to studs. The conversion would be to studs that thread into the hubs and typically have thread locker applied.
I'm not a fan of this but with a new set of wheels going on it's the only way to get some kind of theft protection / wheel nuts.

Hi The problem with thread in studs is they typically cannot " be attached to the hub assembly in such a way as not to be able to turn in either direction with wheel nut tightening" as it says on page 19 of the wheels and tyres standard. Then in the sidebar note it says " that a splined stud is an acceptable method, however a thread-locking adhesive is not" So, to use a thread in stud, there should be enough thread protruding through the back of the hub so you can fit a locknut to prevent the stud turning, without the locknut and stud interfering on the hub carrier. Hope that helps Chris

Thanks Chris that does clear it up ... would there be any issues with drilling out the M12x1.5 threads in the hub to accept a regular splined stud ? Looks like that would be 14mm from one example I've found online.

No issues I can foresee from the information provided, as long as the original threaded hole will allow a hole to be drilled to an appropriate size to press in the stud.
