Hi there, i'm collecting bits and info ready to start cert process on F1 truck, it has HQ front end grafted on already. Am looking at putting on bigger brakes. I see the BA 298mm disc is popular over the ditch. does anyone know if these kits are approved for use in NZ of know of what kits are: www.planetparts.com.au/holden-hq-hj-hx-hz-wb-to-au2-298mm-brake-upgrade-hKit includes a spacer/adapter bracket to accept the AU2/3 caliper, which i have in my spares bin. Uses standard HQ bearings, and a DBA504U BA falcon disc. Anyone done this? Cheers Sam

Cheers Sam Hi Sam There is no LVV approval for this kit and if there was, the manufacturer would have to provide you with a copy of the approval. To assess it properly, the kit would need to be assessed by an LVV certifier for compliance. However a "non certifier" pair of eyes (mine) looking at the hubs noted a lack of material between the wheel stud and the edge of the hub. The hub may need approval from Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) Hope that helps Chris
