Hey team, couple of quick clarifications please.
I have a rotary converted 323 hatchback with battery going into the boot area.
So it ISN'T isolated from the interior ( as hatchback )
I am using an Optima Red AGM battery. Now I understand this does not need external venting but I cannot decode if this requires either :
A spill tray Or An enclosed box ?
Terminals will obviously have insulated caps over the terminal connections and battery will be secured in an Optima specific billet mount.
Also other than "fit for purpose" is there any minimum requirements for bolt size or quantity for mounting the new battery mount?

No, it won't need either a spill tray or enclosed box and protecting the terminals is always good practice. You are also correct with the mounting just needing to be fit for purpose, there is not a specific bolt size or number. Cheers Chris
